support@tidest.appInformation kept on your Mac
Tidest identifies app windows and reads their titles, owning apps, positions, and sizes to arrange and switch windows and save Scenes. Window and Scene information stays on your Mac and is not uploaded to Tidest servers.
The 7-day trial start, a random device identifier, and the signed license are stored in macOS Keychain. Tidest does not automatically upload usage analytics, window contents, or diagnostic logs. You can manage Accessibility permission in macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Website visits
The tidest.app website code does not use advertising trackers or first-party behavioral analytics. Your language choice is stored in browser local storage.
Cloudflare hosts the website and APIs. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request times, browser details, and request headers to deliver content, prevent abuse, and secure the service. For a license-recovery request, the email address and IP address are combined with a server secret to derive a one-way rate-limit identifier; the raw IP address is not stored in the Tidest license database.
Purchases and Paddle
Paddle is the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for transactions. Paddle Checkout processes the purchase email and the payment, billing, tax, and fraud-prevention information needed for the transaction. Tidest receives the customer ID, transaction ID, purchase email, item, payment status, and refund status needed to deliver the license.
Payment-card numbers and complete payment credentials are processed by Paddle and do not enter Tidest servers. Paddle applies its own privacy policy to information it collects.
Paddle Privacy PolicyLicensing, activation, and recovery
To deliver and maintain licenses, Tidest stores a license UUID, Paddle customer and transaction IDs, purchase email, license status, device allowance, random device UUIDs, activation and email-delivery times, and refund and webhook-processing records. A device UUID is not a hardware serial number.
Activation codes and recovery confirmation tokens are not stored in plaintext in the database; only their hashes are stored. Recovery links expire after 30 minutes. Cloudflare Queues and Email Service process the address and message when an activation or recovery email is sent. Routine offline verification happens on the Mac and does not submit the email address.
Purposes and sharing
Information is used only to complete purchases, deliver and validate licenses, carry out refunds, send necessary emails, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal and financial obligations. Tidest does not sell personal information or use purchase emails for marketing.
Information is handled by Paddle, Cloudflare, and necessary email service providers only where needed for those purposes, or disclosed to authorities when required by law. These providers may process data outside your country or region.
Cloudflare Privacy PolicyRetention
License, transaction, activation, and refund records are retained for as long as needed to provide the lifetime license, handle support or disputes, and meet legal and financial obligations. Expired recovery links cannot be used again; related security and delivery records may be retained as needed to prevent abuse, investigate problems, and demonstrate delivery.
Deleting records required for a license may prevent us from validating, recovering, or supporting that license. Information that must be kept by law is retained until the applicable obligation ends.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Tidest, and to exercise restriction, objection, or portability rights where applicable. We may need to verify your relationship to the license through the purchase email.
Payment and buyer information held by Paddle must be managed separately through Paddle’s privacy-request page.

Tidest uses HTTPS, Paddle webhook verification, hashed activation codes, and signed licenses to protect data, but no network service can guarantee absolute security.
